Bu kitabı yazmamızdaki amaç; öncelikle İngilizce dersini işlerken drama oyunları yoluyla çocukların gelişimine ve İngilizceyi sevmesine katkı
sağlamaktır. Bilindiği gibi eğitimin görevlerinden birisi de, kültürümüzü yetişmekte olan nesillere aktarmaktır. Kültürümüzü ve evrensel bakış açısını
dil yoluyla yaşatmaktır. Bireyin dünyayla iletişim kurabilmesi için yabancı dile hâkim olması gerekir. Bunu da çocuk yaşta sevdirmek, kolaylaştırmak
biz eğitimcilerin görevidir.. Aynı zamanda bu kitapta, drama oyunları oynanırken, konular geri planda kalmadan oyun ile öğretimin beraber
yürütülmesi hedeflenmiştir. Genel olarak kitapta yer alan oyunlar görsel-işitsel belleğe, analiz-senteze ve ifadeye yönelik olarak hazırlanmıştır.
Bilindiği gibi ilköğretim birinci kademe derslerinde üniteler ve bu üniteler içinde birçok konu yer almaktadır. Burada seçilen oyunlar tüm ünitelere ve
konulara transfer edilecek şekilde tasarlanmıştır. Başka bir deyişle, oyunun birden fazla konuya uygulanabilirliği esas alınmıştır. Burada öğretmene
düşen görev, öğrenilmesi zor ve karmaşık konuları bütün drama oyunlarına transfer edebilmektir.
The aim of writing this book is primary to make English lessons more enjoyable through drama games. However, the purpose is to run both the games
and teaching together without making the topics that we should teach behind while playing drama games. Generally, the games in this books have
been prepared considering audio-visual memory, analysis & synthesis, and the power of expression. It is known that there are so many topics to cover
in different units in the primary education. Here in this book, all the games have been prepared to be transferred into these topics in the units. In other
words, the implementation of the games in several topics has been taken into account. At this point, what is expected from the teacher is to transfer all
the difficult and complicated topics into drama games.
This book has been written to make the children get rid of their fears of learning English. As English is one of the lessons which is found challenging
by many students, the drama games that have been designed in this book will make things easier both for the learners and teachers who are doing their
best to make their students not only love this lesson but most importantly transfer what they have acquired in this lesson into their real lives out of the
class. At this point, this book will give great insight for the teachers into how they can use drama games in their English lessons. Therefore, they will
highly benefit from this book.
